WELCOME TO OUR CLUB

St Francis Ramblers Club has been leading walks in London and the South East since its foundation in 1930 at the Catholic Church of Saint Mary Moorfields in the City of London. The Club is approved by the Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster.

Members of our Club helped form The Ramblers Association in 1936, renamed ‘Ramblers’ of which it is an Affiliated Member No.374815.

We prioritise fellowship, friendship and inclusivity and welcome walkers of all religions and none who respect our Catholic Ethos.

The Saint Francis Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
